Day in day out patients don't expect that their local practice will remember their birthday, but if they do it's a gesture that they don't soon forget about. Therefore, order some nice birthday cards with your message and corporate image on them.
Go into last year's database and pull all old patients files and start sending them your happy birthday cards when the moment arises! This will accomplish several things:
It will remind your clients of how thoughtful you are, and they will start to think of your practice in a different light.
And they will think of you sometimes months afterward when they or someone they know needs your services - BINGO!!!
Tip #2 - Promotional gifts for your patients
Fact - Did you know that advertisers spend in excess of $8 billion per year on promotional products? They spend this money on a list of over 15,000 different products worldwide. 14% of those gifts are on pens and other writing materials and 11% on calendars and drinking cups.
People love gifts! Therefore, give a gift every once and a while, make it something that you know your patients will use. Perhaps a pen or calendar, because these items stay with them for months on end. It is like having you own practice billboard.
