Physician recruiting process
Step 1.
You tell us your specialty and geographic preference. With most specialties, we usually only need to search one or two metropolitan areas to find the available jobs that meet your criteria.
BACMR works with every specialty all over the United States - even in markets that you've heard are "saturated". From internal medicine to podiatry, pathology to cardiothoracic surgery, nephrology to pediatrics, ob/gyn to family medicine, whether you want to live in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, or just a specific region of the country, we can help. If you're in a primary care specialty, just tell us your top location and that's all we'll need!
Step 2.
We search our database for every potential job lead, hiring contact, and networking contact related to your specific job search. This is essentially anyone who can be a resource for you to find a job.
Our typical client in a primary care specialty looking for a job in a major metropolitan area is likely to reach a much larger number of contacts than in secondary specialties.
Step 3.
Our professional staff writers will thoroughly review your existing curriculum Vitae (CV) and cover letter, and if necessary, they will prepare a new CV and cover letter for you.
BACMR uses professional CV writers, not doctors, to ensure that you will make the very best first impression. Your CV will be revised and rewritten to be as effective as possible. Our writers will also prepare a customized cover letter for your search that explains what makes you unique and marketable to employers as a physician. You will work one on one with your writer to approve your CV and cover letter before they are finalized.
Step 4.
BACMR will submit your CV and cover letter to every single contact in our customized search on your behalf, thereby affording you the greatest coverage possible.

Step 5.
Usually within a few days, we will begin receiving inquiries from employers who have received your CV and cover letter and want to schedule interviews with you. We will provide interview counseling.
By contacting every hiring and networking contact for your specific job search, we will automatically find anyone who is (a) looking for someone like you, (b) aware of a group who is looking for someone like you, or (c) aware of any other opportunities that match your goals.

By having access to all of these available positions, you are able to speak with employers who have reviewed your CV and cover letter and are calling to discuss a specific opening with you.
