Public relations (PR) methods and means may include such tactics as: For what it’s worth, here’s some food for thought regarding the cost of delaying an important decision such as whether or not to move forward with a strategic marketing plan to gain referrals and new patients for your practice. Suppose you decide to sit and think about marketing for a while. Guess what happens? Nothing! It’s an interesting phenomenon. Elective medical procedures including cosmetic surgery and aesthetic/dermatological services present a unique opportunity to healthcare providers interested in marketing their services. Few insurance companies reimburse for these procedures and consequently patients are usually required to pay out-of-pocket.
